The pure product is colorless crystal and has no smell. m.p.155~156℃, relative density 1.29. easily soluble in benzene, chloroform (230g/l), acetone (80g/l, carbon disulfide and other chemicalbook organic solvents, barely soluble in ether and ethanol (<10g/l), insoluble in water (30mg/l). decomposes in acid. business product is white or light yellow powder, mp146℃ or higher.

Product description

Thiram is the simplest thiuram disulfide and the oxidized dimer of dimethyldithiocarbamate. It is used as a fungicide, ectoparasiticide to prevent fungal diseases in seed and crops and similarly as an animal repellent to protect fruit trees and ornamentals from damage by rabbits, rodents and deer. It is effective against Stem gall of coriander, damping off, smut of millet, neck rot of onion, etc. Thiram has been used in the treatment of human scabies, as a sun screen and as a bactericide applied directly to the skin or incorporated into soap

Usage

Usage:It is a broad-spectrum protective fungicide with a residual effect of about 7 days. It is mainly used to treat seeds and soil, prevent powdery mildew, smut of cereal crops, and rice seedling wilt. Chemicalbook can also be used for some fruit tree and vegetable diseases. If 500g of 50% wettable powder is used to dress seeds, it can prevent rice blast, rice flax leaf spot, barley and wheat smut.
