Dimethomorph is a new type of low toxicity fungicide, which is used for internal absorption therapy. Its mechanism of action is to destroy the formation of the cell wall membrane of bacteria, cause the decomposition of sporangium wall, and cause the death of bacteria. In addition to zoospore formation and zoospore swimming stage, it has effects on all stages of the life history of oomycetes, especially on the stage of sporangium stem and oospore formation. If the drug is used before sporangium and oospore formation, it can completely inhibit the production of spores. The drug has strong internal absorption, applied to the root, and can enter each part of the plant through the root; Blade spray, can enter the blade interior. It has no cross-resistance with benzamide fungicides such as metholaxin.

Toxicity:

The acute oral LD50 of rats was greater than 3900 mg/kg, the transcutaneous LD50 was greater than 2000 mg/kg, and the acute inhaled LC50 of rats was greater than 4.24 mg/L.

It has no irritation to rabbit skin, slight irritation to eyes, and no sensitization to guinea pigs.

No mutagenic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects were observed under the test conditions. Rats were fed for 90 days at a nonactive dose of 200 mg/kg.

The drug was moderately toxic to fish, with acute LC503 mg/L (96 hours) in stingray trout, LC5014 mg/L (96 hours) in carp, and LC5048 mg/L (48 small) in Daphania

Under normal use, low toxicity to bees, oral LD50 greater than 100 MCG/head.

It has no toxic effect on silkworm.

Low toxicity to birds, acute transoral LD50 of wild ducks greater than 2000 mg/kg.

The non-active dose for earthworms was 1000 mg/kg soil.

Slight eye irritation, no skin irritation.
