Product description:
Fluroxypyr is an organic heterocyclic selective systemic and conductive post-emergence herbicide. Its general name is fluroxypyr, and other names include Zhipinling. It is suitable for the control of wheat, barley, corn and other gramineous crops. Various broad-leaved weeds. The preparation is 20% Maketaron EC, and the appearance is light brown or brown liquid.
Physical and chemical properties:
The pure product is white crystal, odorless. m.p.232~233℃, vapor pressure 1.26×10-3Pa(25℃), pKa2.94. It is easily soluble in acetone (1.6g/L), chloroform, dichloromethane, but insoluble in water (91mg/L). It is stable when stored at room temperature for 2 years. Its methyl ester is crystal. m.p.56^~57℃, vapor pressure 0.014×10-3Pa (25℃). Solubility at 20: methylene chloride 896g/L, acetone 867g/L, ethyl acetate 792g/L, toluene 735g/L, xylene 642g/L, methanol 469g/L, hexane 45g/L. The distribution coefficient is 6140. Normal storage is stable and decomposes above the melting point. The half-life of the hydrolysis reaction is 9.8d (pH=5), 17.5d (pH=7) and 10.2d (pH=9).
Usage:
It has a systemic conduction effect and a typical hormone-type herbicide response. When used after seedlings, sensitive crops show typical hormonal herbicide responses. It is suitable for use in cereal crops and has a wide application period. It can be used to control broad-leaved weeds in wheat, barley, corn, grapes and orchards, pastures, forest farms, etc. Weeds such as amaranth and purslane are not effective against gramineous weeds.
