Its isopropylamine salt is suitable for all weeds. It has excellent herbicidal activity against Cyperaceae weeds, annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds, broad-leaved weeds and weeds. It can be used before or after buds, and can be quickly absorbed by plant roots and leaves to inhibit The biosynthesis of plant side chain amino acids (valine, leucine, isoleucine) destroys proteins, inhibits the growth of weeds, and promotes their death. Sensitive weeds stop growing immediately after foliar treatment, and generally die after 2 to 4 weeks. Selectivity is due to the fact that plants have different metabolic rates, and resistant plants have a faster metabolic rate than sensitive plants. After legumes absorb Prostaglandin, it is quickly metabolized and decomposed in the body, which is safe for soybeans. The half-life of imazethapyr in soybeans is about 1.6 days. When the dosage is more than 100g active ingredient/hm2, the growth of soybean is obviously inhibited at the initial stage of application, but it can recover quickly. Use acid soil with caution in low-lying fields. The drug has a long residual effect in the soil, and crops that are sensitive to the drug, such as cabbage, rape, cucumber, potato, eggplant, pepper, tomato, sugar beet, watermelon, sorghum, etc., cannot be planted within three years of applying Imazethapyr.
