Metaldehyde

Tetra-acetaldehyde is a highly selective molluscicide. It is light blue in appearance, softened in water, with special fragrance and strong attraction. When the snail is attracted by attractant and feeds or comes into contact with the agent, the acetylcholinesterase in the snail body will be released in large quantities, which will destroy the special mucus in the snail body, cause the snail to dehydrate rapidly, paralyze nerves, and secrete mucus. Due to the loss of a large number of body fluids and the destruction of cells, the snail and slugs will be poisoned and die in a short time. The main ingredients are tetra acetaldehyde, carnavir and bait.Low toxicity to humans and livestock, low toxicity to fish, land and aquatic non-target organisms, low toxicity to silkworms.
