Physical and chemical properties:

The pure product is a white crystalline solid. m.p.118~119℃(120℃), solubility: ether 77g/100mL, ethanol 153g/100mL, n-hexane 0.5g/100mL, toluene 6.2g/100mL, xylene 4.9g/100mL, water 0.0825g/100mL. Industrial products m.p.99~107℃, smell of phenol.

Usage:

Hormone-based selective herbicides are easily absorbed and conducted by roots and leaves. It is used in the fields of grassy crops such as rice to control a variety of annual or perennial broad-leaved weeds and certain monocotyledonous weeds after budding. It has a special effect on killing broadleaf weeds and three shuttle grasses, but it has no effect on barnyard weeds. The dosage is 0.28~2.25kg active ingredient/hm2. It has an impact on cotton, soybeans, vegetables and other broad-leaved crops.
